Celebrate the beginning of summer and Father's Day with the L.A. Greens on Sunday, June 19, 2011, 10am as we go on a hike at Topanga State Park!
Bring sturdy shoes, a hat, water, sunscreen and a sack lunch for a picnic afterward. The trails can be steep at times.
Here are the directions to the park's main entrance where we'll meet:
Parking is $10 or you can park outside the park on the side of the street, but this fills up fast. Also, I have some free parking passes for the state parks, if you want one, let me know in advance so I can meet you at the gate at 10am to give them to you. Contact lisa at losangelesgreens.org
South from Ventura Fwy (101) on Topanga Canyon Blvd. to Entrada Rd. Turn east (left) on Entrada Rd and make two left turns to stay on Entrada to the park entrance.
Go past the Dead Horse Trailhead; that is not the main entrance.
This hike is our L.A. Greens' event for June; there will be NO meeting at the Peace Center this month.
