LA Greens Meeting on August 18

Join us Wednesday, August 18, 7pm at the LA Greens monthly meeting.

On the agenda:

1) Tabling at the Chicano Moratorium and let's get out tabling at Farmers' Markets!

2) Rally in the Valley -- San Fernando Valley (SFV) Greens Labor Day Fundraiser for Laura Wells, Green Party Candidate for Governor!

WE WILL HAVE TICKETS FOR SALE at this meeting!! Linda and Lisa Taylor are both selling tickets for this event to assist the SFV Greens.

3) Elections for Male Co-Facilitator (this spot has been open all year and since Lisa Green is running for Assembly she could use some assistance for meetings she has to miss), Events Coordinator, Membership/Volunteer Coordinator, and Media Person. We didn't have quorum at the July meeting so we will try again.

4) We'll check in on the campaigns of our members Lisa Green and Linda Piera-Avila for State Assembly, on the ballot in November:

The Los Angeles Greens meet the third Wednesday of every month at 7PM at The Peace Center, 8124 W. Third St., Los Angeles, CA 90048.
Meetings are free (donations accepted) and open to the public. Children are welcome. Parking is available behind the building.
