Join LA Greens at our monthly meeting this Wednesday, July 15, 7pm at the Peace Center.
We'll discuss a voter registration drive and candidate efforts--we have at least 3 candidates so far from our local running for office in 2010!! And Michael McCue from Studio City is running for Los Angeles City Council in the special September '09 election to fill Wendy Gruel's seat.
Our mid-year internal elections for 3 of our 7 officers are here: we will be electing our LA Greens Media Person, Volunteer Coordinator, and Events Coordinator.
We'll have updates on Green Party activities from the county, state and national level. The Annual National Meeting of the Green Party of the U.S. is this month in North Carolina and Assembly Candidate Lisa Green from our local will be attending.
The Los Angeles Greens meet the third Wednesday of every month at 7PM at The
Peace Center, 8124 W. Third St., Los Angeles, CA 90048.
Meetings are free (donations accepted) and open to the public. Children are
welcome. Parking is available behind the building.
Bring snacks or drinks if you can to share. See ya!
