LA Greens Mtg. Wed, May 20

Join LA Greens at our meeting this Wednesday, May 20 meeting, 7pm at the Peace Center.

We'll discuss plans for our June Summer Solstice hike on a weekend afternoon (in place of the regular June mtg) so hopefully we'll get to meet some folks in June who can never make the Wed. meetings!

Craig Thorsen, co-chair of Green Party of the United States, will tell us what's going on at the national level and ways to get involved in national Green Party committees and activities.

And we'll talk about voter registration and candidate efforts--we have at least 3 candidates so far from our local running for office in 2010!!

The Los Angeles Greens meet the third Wednesday of every month at 7PM at The
Peace Center, 8124 W. Third St., Los Angeles, CA 90048.

Meetings are free (donations accepted) and open to the public. Children are
welcome. Parking is available behind the building.
